FAQ's

Passcodes and Presale Codes can be used to access tickets not available to the general public. These codes can be entered prior to selecting “Get Tickets” or within the event depending on the website setup. Promocodes and Discount Codes can be used to access special offers upon reaching the check out page. To utilize a code, find the “Have a Passcode” link and insert the code provided.Codes are typically provided from the event host via email.Codes are case sensitive with specific parameters around number of uses, access levels, etc. Note: If your code is not working, ensure that it is not expired and that the terms of the offer are met. Note: All codes are distributed from the event host. Please contact the school or organization to obtain your code if available.
To find an event, visit your school or organizations website and find the “Tickets” or “Box Office” page. Scroll through events listed to find desired event. Schools may not ticket all events digitally. Contact your school or organization for more details on event specific sales, timing and location. Click on the desired event to begin the purchase process and follow the prompts to choose your tickets.
When you purchase your tickets from your school or organization’s website, your tickets will be emailed to the address provided and/or are available for download immediately following the transaction by choosing “Download Tickets” on the order confirmation screen. The email will come from “Your High School” Box Office. Tickets are emailed upon purchase confirmation but may take as long as 5 minutes to reach your email. If your card was charged for a purchase but you cannot locate your tickets, please follow these steps: Confirm your email receipt was not sent to a spam folder. Your tickets are attached to that email. If tickets are still not found. Please contact fansupport@hometownticketing.com or www.hometownticketing.com for our live chat when available. Note: there are scenarios when a pending charge may appear due to an incorrect security code or billing ZIP code. A pending charge may appear on your credit card account for up to 48 hours. Please re-purchase tickets and enter the correct information. HomeTown cannot remove pending charges from your account. This is similar to gas stations or grocery stores. The security code (CVC) is the 3-digit code on back of Visa/MC cards or the 4-digit code on front of AMEX cards.
HomeTown provides a default 7 minute purchasing window to ensure all fans equal access to purchasing tickets. Should your order not be completed in this time frame, you will not be charged and will need to restart the order process. Note: Due to high demand, event hosts may select a smaller purchasing window.
